Daylapse is built so that your photos stay yours. We do not run servers that store your content, we have no user accounts, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking.

Photos, videos and projects

Everything you capture or import in Daylapse is stored locally on your device, inside the app. It is never sent to us.

iCloud backup (optional)

If you turn on iCloud backup (Daylapse Pro), your photos and project data are copied to your own private iCloud Drive. This storage is provided by Apple under your Apple Account; we have no access to it. You can turn the backup off at any time.

Permissions

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.

Support emails

If you contact us by email, we use your message and email address only to answer you. We delete support conversations when they are no longer needed. The prepared support email contains your app version, iOS version and whether Pro is active – you can remove this before sending.

This website

daylapse.app is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use cookies, analytics or third-party fonts on this website.

Children

Daylapse does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: the Datenschutzbehörde). Since your content stays on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting it in the app or deleting the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
